More Than Shaping Stone

Marble Vertex is built on nearly 30 years of natural stone craftsmanship, family heritage, and a passion for turning ideas into distinctive pieces of stone.

My name is Ekrem Yılmaz. I was born in Afyonkarahisar, Türkiye, and grew up around the natural stone industry that my grandfather and father entered nearly three decades ago.

This story did not begin with me.

It began with my grandfather and father, working with natural stone in İscehisar, one of Türkiye's long-established centers of stone production. In those early years, production relied heavily on traditional craftsmanship. Stone was shaped, refined and detailed largely by hand, with the final character of each piece depending on the skill and experience of the craftsman.

As a child, I frequently visited the workshop. What started as curiosity gradually became a passion. I wanted to understand how a raw block of stone could be transformed into something functional, beautiful and completely unique.

I studied design and decoration throughout high school and university. At the same time, I spent approximately ten years learning the trade inside our family business — progressing from apprentice to craftsman and eventually to master.

Those years taught me something that remains at the heart of Marble Vertex today:

Good stonework is not simply about cutting stone. It is about understanding the material, respecting its character and knowing how to bring a design to life.

From Family Workshop to Marble Vertex

In 2017, I took over the management of our family business and began a new chapter.

We started investing in modern production technology while preserving the traditional craftsmanship that had been passed down through our family.

Today, our workshop is equipped with CNC turning machines, CNC routers, bridge saws and other specialized equipment. These technologies allow us to achieve precision, consistency and production efficiency.

But technology has never replaced craftsmanship.

It has simply given us better tools.

Many of our products still receive significant hand finishing and detailing. We believe that natural stone should not lose its character simply because it has been produced with modern machinery.

Every stone has its own veins, tones, textures and natural variations.

Our job is not to make every piece look identical.

Our job is to reveal what makes each piece of stone unique.

As we continued working with natural stone, we began receiving requests from customers in Europe and other countries for custom-made sinks, planters, fountains and decorative stone pieces.

Seeing customers receive a product that had originally existed only as an idea — and knowing that we had helped bring that idea to life — became one of the most rewarding parts of our work.

Those experiences led us to create Marble Vertex.

Today, Marble Vertex represents the next generation of our family's natural stone journey: combining nearly three decades of manufacturing experience with contemporary design, modern technology and a global outlook.

From One Custom Sink to Large-Scale Production

One of the things that defines Marble Vertex is our ability to adapt production to the needs of each project.

We can produce a single custom-made sink for a private residence, or manufacture hundreds or thousands of pieces for larger projects.

We work with architects, interior designers, developers and private clients who require custom dimensions, specific designs or carefully selected natural stone.

From a one-of-a-kind bathroom sink to large-scale architectural projects, we approach every order with the same attention to detail.

Our goal is simple:

To make custom natural stone production accessible, precise and reliable — regardless of the size of the project.

A Direct Connection From Our Workshop to Your Project

Working with an overseas manufacturer can sometimes feel distant.

We believe it shouldn't.

For this reason, communication is an important part of the Marble Vertex experience.

Before production begins, we share images of the selected marble with our customer so the stone's color, veining and overall appearance can be reviewed and approved.

Once approved, production begins.

Throughout the manufacturing process, we remain in contact with the customer and can provide progress photos and updates when needed.

From the first design conversation to production, packaging and delivery, we stay connected.

And if an unexpected issue occurs, we do not simply pass the problem along.

We look for the solution together.

Because when your project is thousands of miles away from our workshop, you should still feel connected to the people making your piece.

Today, I continue this journey together with my father, my brother and our team of skilled craftspeople at our workshop in İscehisar, Türkiye.

We bring together three important elements:

Nearly 30 years of natural stone experience.

Modern production technology.

And craftsmanship that still respects the human hand.

This combination allows us to create products that are not only precisely manufactured, but also carry the natural character and individuality of the stone from which they are made.

Marble Vertex is our way of taking the knowledge passed down through our family and bringing it to customers, architects and designers around the world.

From Türkiye to homes, hotels, villas and architectural projects across international markets, every piece begins with the same idea:
